When I am not teaching kindergarten at
Buist Academy here in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina, I am collecting wood
toys from the 1920s and 30s. My husband, Jim, is a collector of Schoenhut circus
toys. He is the photographer and Web site designer.
Photos from our collections were used
in Michele Karl's very fine book "Composition & Wood Dolls and
Toys", L-W Book Sales' "Price Guide to Pull Toys", and in Richard
O'Brien's "Collecting Toys 9th Edition".
