Ladders and chairs are probably the most commonly found Humpty Dumpty circus accessories. Almost every Humpty Dumpty set, however large, contained a chair and usually a ladder. Ladders and chairs were the first two accessories made.

Ladders

Ladders were made in two sizes - the regular and the reduced. The reduced ladders are found in white, yellow, and red. Colored regular size ladders are rare. One end of the ladder was cut at an angle so that the ladder could be set at an angle to support performers.

Chairs

Reduced chairs (on the left) are often found in colors but usually white. Regular chairs are all white. Some regular size chairs have slotted legs for use with acrobats.

Tables

Tables are always found in white. The reduced size, on the left, is simpler than the regular size on the right whose legs are slotted and the top has a lip.
