| The A.
Schoenhut Company made point-of-sale display pieces for use by major
department and toy stores to attract customers. The Noah's ark shown
here was recently purchased by Schoenhut Collector's Club members Allan
and Debbie Jung at a North Carolina auction. Allan's research on the
piece showed it had been used by the FAO Schwartz Co. until about 1935
when Schoenhut went out of business. |
