This page features Part 1 of the great Schoenhut doll collection of Diane Dustir.  Diane not only collected the dolls, but she also made dresses and shoes for them.

15/76 “Schnickel-Fritz” a boy doll named by the Schoenhut Co., in copy of Jester outfit shown in 1911 doll catalog.

16/201 Graziano designed head w/Schoenhut g/e Pig, in factory original clothing except tie, shoes & hat

 

21/205 Commercially dressed as a male Doctor (white slacks under gown), possibly at a department store or doll’s shop

 


19/175/2  “Football Player Manikin” factory original uniform, replaced shoes, missing helmet and nose guard

 ca 1914 to 1918.


21/205  Dressed in copy of Schoenhut Sailor suit

 


16/200 First factory style boy’s union suit with 2 back buttons, factory boots and sox

 


16/403  Commercially made WWI Soldier uniform possibly from a department store or doll dress shop. Looks like Harry Schoenhut page 129 Corson book.  Diane added the officers puttees.

16/103 Transition model, braids but No Bow in back, factory outfit  *hard to find

 


   21/315 Replaced antique wig, redressed in old fabric in style of era   *hard to find

 


19/309 in factory union suit, shoes, sox, handmade peach dress and hat

 


19/310  Deeply incised eyes, redressed by Diane in copy of Schoenhut style, in old fabric and trims

 


All Three are, “Smooth Eye Character Dolls” (eye is not intaglio)
