The
Dark Horses
Schoenhut marketed their saddled horse as "Dark
Horses". Horses are as much a part of a circus as
elephants. The dark horse was introduced in 1906 shortly after the white
horse. |

Glass eyes
Early horses are hard to find complete. They came with leather ears,
bridle, reins (missing here), metal stirrups, and a twisted twine tail.
They have a white cloth mane. The brown is a nice medium brown.

Painted eyes
The main changes to the horse are the painted main, painted eyes,
black twine tail, and a darker brown body.
