Mary and Her Lamb
Mary Had A Little Lamb sets were introduced in 1908.
Sets came with a sheep (lamb), a feeding trough, and a desk with a slate
board and reader attached. Sets came in nice boxes with the nursery
rhyme printed on the front.

Second Mary
Later, Mary's face design was changed to a more
serious look. Her head appears to be molded much like the earlier Mary.

Third Mary
The third and last Mary was changed to a molded head with a shorter

Mary's Lamb
The lamb or sheep was introduced with Mary. Early ones have glass
eyes, leather ears, and a brass bell hanging from a red ribbon.
The later lambs have painted eyes. The bell on this one is a
replacement.
