Bill Moody is a
retired University of Delaware mathematics professor who has been
collecting toys for at least forty years. He lives in Newark, Delaware
and has a place in Ocean City, MD. Besides Metalcraft trucks, he latches
onto anything that races his motor. He purchased his first group of
Twistums at an auction in New York, where the auctioneer said they were
Schoenhut. He thought they were cute and bought them. Since then he has
added a couple of other small collections and purchased the rest at
auctions and on eBay. He has a special place in his heart for wooden
toys, especially those that can be built and taken apart again.
