The Rickrack

The "silk" clown suits have gold rickrack running down the front and back, separating the cloth panels.
We have observed three distinctive rickrack designs.

In this rickrack, the gold thread and the yellow thread are woven together to give a specked look.

Here, the serpentine yellow thread is held in place with the gold thread in the center only.

Finally, the yellow base thread is overlaid with the gold thread. This design was used in a smaller size on hats.
