The Toy Robot
Museum
|
The Toy Robot Museum is located in Adamstown, Pennsylvania and
is owned and operated by Joe Knedlhans. Robots, and consequently, robot toys are
largely modern inventions. They are usually constructed on lithographed metal or
plastic and made between 1950 and the present. However, at the robot museum, Joe
showed me an early wooden robot from the Jolin Company of Appleton, Wisconsin.
This robot is rare and is shown here along with photographs of Joe and his
unique Toy Robot Museum.
