Sea Lions

by Judith Lile and Jim Sneed

  The Schoenhut Sea Lions
The sea lion was introduced in about 1907. It is a very good circus animal but was only made in two designs, and only in regular size. A ball was made with a dug out spot for ease of balancing on the sea lion's nose.

Glass eyes

The sea lion was made with leather ears and flippers. Its mouth was cut open to show its painted teeth.
