by Judith Lile and Jim Sneed

 The Schoenhut Sheep
The sheep was introduced in 1909 to go with the Mary sets. No reduced size sheep were produced. Four designs are known differentiated mainly by their head designs.

Decal eyes, molded head

This is likely the last version made. Decals were used for eyes on a molded head. The nostrils and mouth were simply painted on. Bell on this example is a replacement.
