This live steam engine, built by the Bing toy company ca 1926, exemplifies the best in toy making. This model features a whistle, pressure gauge, safety valve, water pump, and simulated flywheel governor. This very beautiful model is made of brass, copper and other metals and still functions perfectly.

Saw Mill by Doll & Cie of Germany
This steam engine accessory is designed to simulate the sawing of a log. To create action, a belt is attached from the engine's flywheel to a pulley attached to a water pump inside the mill house which lifts water to the top of the side wall where it flows onto the wheel paddles which turns thereby driving the saw action. This all metal steam toy was made in the 1920s.
