Ferdinand Strauss East Rutherford, New Jersey 1900 - 1940 Ferdinand Strauss was a manufacturer of early mechanical toys. When it was in financial trouble, Louis Marx purchased in 1922 along with toy dies. Louis Marx started his career working at Ferdinand Strauss at the age of 14.
