The Fulton Toy Company History

Fulton Toys
Manufactured by Patent Novelty Company Incorporated, Fulton, Illinois
Estimated dates of production: 1925-1931

The Fulton Toy Company of Fulton, Illinois, a division of Patent Novelty Company, made toys at least from 1928 through 1931. Fulton Toys are often mistaken for Tinker, Hustler, or Go Toys in their design. Fulton Toys are rarely marked making it even more difficult to tell them apart from other toy makers. Their toys typically have wooden wheels, bodies, faces and beads while their arms and bases are typically metal. We were only able to find advertising during the years mentioned above.

Fun Fact: In 1929, Donald Duncan attended a demonstration of a new toy in Los Angeles. He was so excited, he bought the small yo-yo company for $25,000. Duncan Yo-Yo's was born and is now the most popular yo-yo around the world.
